Probitas is accredited by SADCAS certification body for the scope of Independent Inspection Authority for pressure equipment (Boiler & Pressure Vessels) during In-service and during manufacture including Design Verification scope. We test wrought/ingot products, castings, steels, weldments, powder metallurgy, extruded, rolled & drawn products for certification of integrity against the presence of internal & surface defects.The Company carries out Statutory Inspections, NDT, Testing, Calibration & Integrity Certification of lifting and plant Equipment according to the Factories and Works Act (Chapter 14:08) of 1996, Government Factories regulatory 263, 303 & 279 of 1976, Mining (Management & safety) Regulations 109: 1990. Probitas Engineers also performs training & assessment of technical personnel such as welder coding certification, working with lifting equipment, riggers and personnel working at heights. We perform Statutory and Non-Statutory Inspection & Non Destructive Tests on all lifting equipment & pressurized equipment for both fired and unfired; underground or above ground units. We also do proof load test and hydrostatic pressure testing. We also specialize in calibration services of all workshop precision tools, factory, laboratory & production measuring instruments in the scope of pressure, mass, volumetric, metric and temperature.
