Non Destructive Testing
- NDT is performed to test without destructing the component. We have capacity to perform the following integrity tests to check for surface, near surface and internal flaws/ defects which will be assessed in accordance to specific NDT codes/standards to determine general compliance and fitness for continued or initial use. These techniques are also used during failure investigation to solve hidden engineering technical root causes: Non-Destructive Tests Done Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI /MT) Ultrasonic Flaw Detection and Flaw Sizing (UT) Ultrasonic thickness gauging/survey. Liquid penetrant test (PT) Radiographic testing/ X-Ray flaw detection and Xray Film interpretation. Hydrostatic Pressure testing (HPT) Leak detection Electro-magnetic testing (EM) Hardness determination (HRC; HRB; HB; HL scale etc.) - These stated tests are usually employed to test various industrial and mining equipment which include 5 of 8 { Boilers; Pressure vessels; Air receivers; Elution vessels; Tanks (horizontal & vertical), HP steam lines; Hoists; Overhead and Mobile cranes; Gantries; Lifting equipment; chain blocks; Ball mills; Crushers, Wire ropes. etc.}
